The first time dining in this quite rustic restaurant in Ridgefield,Ct. on the recommendation my husbands friend. It. Is about a 50minute drive ftom the White plains area.. Farmhouse decor greeted us.. Only negative(which isn't really a negative ) is that there is not outdoor seating
i The tables are spaced so not to be on top of each other.

The menu is quite diverse.. appetizers range from soups(onion&clam chowder
) to mussels , oysters meatballs, -tuna tartar shrimp cocktail.
Entrees are pastas,burgers,varied chicken dinners,shrimp &ribs
I chose a choppedAmerican salad which contained romaine toasted corn feta cheese avocado olives cherry tomatoes topped with salmon. The dressing was excellent ....
My husband chose Chicken Milanese( see foto ) The chicken was so juicy and flavorful!!
They served a huge loaf of bread which came with a slab of butter and a small container if a spread. ...Tomato based with pureed roasted red pepper...delicious !!!
The restaurant is a friendly place.. the manager came over to our table just to ask how everything was . the servers were dressed in t shirts with the logo of the restaurant the restaurant
The restaurant is on route7 not far from the Danbury mall It can be reached via84 or a more scenic route ...684. Katonah/cross river exit and across35 to rte7!
Recommended for those who want a short drive to a country "farm" eating place!!!
We will return for another meal
